Annual Workforce Report of the Resources Industry
The Kinetic Group Heartbeat Report 2012 is an annual workforce report produced by Kinetic Group for the Queensland resources sector and helps industry plan its future workforce requirements.
The Report sheds light on some key issues affecting the sustainability of the resources sector, including unprecedented workforce growth, a high employee turnover rate, the rise of FIFO and DIDO, and an ageing workforce.
Report findings include discussion on the annual turnover, resignation and retirement rates, and the specific job roles deemed to be in critical supply – as well as the significant impact these are having on industry and how we can mitigate them.
Importantly, the report is used to set the agenda for Queensland State Government funding for next year and means industry can focus on how to rectify the problems.
